How old is old enough?

Do you think you should be allowed to vote before 18? If you wanted to stand for election yourself, should you have to wait until you are 21? These are just a few of the questions we’re asking young people in our paper ’16-18-21?’. We’d like you to tell us how you feel about these and other issues around young people and democracy, by 31 October 2003. If you’d like to know more, you can also download a more extensive version of this consultation, called ‘How old is old enough?’.
